I am sure if you have followed me for some time, you realize that I am an art history buff! My art history reference here is to painter John William Waterhouse. Larsonite Jasper always reminds me of his paintings as they both have this romantic, sepia-tinted gemtone hues. This particular piece of the Jasper has the pops of rosy pink with some muted flesh and moss tones. Your love is a masterpiece, right? So, gift something that captures that same essence. The Jasper has been cut into a puffy, asymmetrical heart. It was a really fun heart to set since usually hearts are SO symmetrical that it is almost always difficult to make the top humps look perfectly paired! I have set this Jasper in sterling silver and accented it with some texture around the bezel. This part of the necklace has been slightly oxidized to make all of the textures POP! The pendant is attached to a chunky chain and the clasp is a front toggle clasp. This makes it great for left or right handed use. The chain is 18" in length and the pendant is about 2.5" in length. One of a kind.
