Susan Williamson lives and works in Newburyport, Massachusetts and has been professionally painting since 2005. Classes at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, Woodmere Art Museum School, and Temple University have greatly contributed to her education. An affinity for animals, drawing, and painting have been constants since childhood. A chance listen as Terry Gross (NPR Fresh Air ) interviewed Temple Grandin in 2009 prompted a reevaluation of her life and work. The International Association of Pastel Societies has designated Susan a member of the Master Circle of painters. Her pastel and oil paintings are in collections across the United States and Europe.
