"Flying Lady" is a hand carved wooden sculpture by Vermont artist John Cassin. This piece is carved from a hemlock log. She is still "aging" in our gardens and will be ready for her new home soon! She has a fusion of rich wood tones and oxidized grey tones that accentuate her form. As the majority of Cassin's work, it makes you question whether it is a contemporary piece or an antiquity.
