This hand-turned hollowform vessel is handcrafted in Vermont from native hardwood. This one is rare as it is crafted from a spalted maple stock that's rich in history and character. Marks from where maple taps once collected sap for syrup were revealed in the turning process and add a remarkable patina. A lustrous lacquer finish is applied before carnuba wax is buffed on to complete the piece.
