This original marble sculpture is by the renown Vermont artist Nancy Diefenbach. "Solitary Dream" is carved from all native VT stone. The upper section(which includes the disc)is carved from a single piece of Vermont Delft marble. The sculpture sits upon a base of VT slate and another piece of textured marble.
