This table base couldn't wait any longer! Originally built to be have a distressed zinc top, this base was handcrafted in our Vermont studios with a rare douglas fir timber stock. Worn with age, it's natural patina needed nothing but a light sanding before a little mortise and tenon construction. The top is hand with all 1840's antique attic pine floor boards from our house. A top very rich in patina and history! Several more coats of oiling to be done before I will let it go to it's new home.
P.S. Introduce my zinc and copper line this summer.
