Organic Casting Necklaces - Crystal Clusters

Pyrite and Stibnite clusters are cast in brass using the lost wax casting technique, preserving and adding to their natural beauty.

Stibnite, sometimes called antimonite, is a soft crystal material.  In it's natural form, it is believed to be a crystal of change, attraction and transformation.

Pyrite Clusters are made up of Iron Sulfide and they occur in many different configurations. The pyrite cluster used to cast this pendant is from Peru.  Pyrite's metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold which is why it is referred to as "fool's gold".  Pyrite, in it's natural form, is believed to supplement physical energy with the energy of the sun, increases stamina, stimulate the intellect, and protects against negativity.

Antique brass pendant is 3/4" diameter and the brass chain is 17" long with a lobster clasp.
